26 Richard Hancock LRPS To Print or Not to Print? Mar I’m a firmly believer that a photograph is not complete until it’s has been physically printed out. Like many photographers who learnt their craft with film and wet process printing, I have never forgotten the first time I experienced a B&W print appear before my eyes in a tray of developer. The whole photographic process should flow from subject, to capturing the image, editing and selecting the best frame then finally printing out the finished photograph. One of the great benefits of

07 Richard Hancock Day 2 Christmas Day in Addis Ababa Jan Christmas Day My body clock has had some trouble adjusting to the new timezone and along with the altitude, I found it hard to get to sleep last night. As a result I didn't drop of until nearly 2am. I had set my alarm for 8am for morning prayer and breakfast but it didn't go off so I woke up at 9am and we had to catch the bus to church at 9:30am! So the day began with a mad rush, this added to by no coffee and no morning prayer, I was not at my best when I boarded the bus for St Mathew's

06 Richard Hancock Ethiopia Day 1 Arrive In Addis Ababa & visit to St Raguel Church on Mount Entoto Jan Day 1- Orthodox Christmas Eve The flight out from London Heathrow was relatively straight forward and we had no problems checking in and I even managed a pint of London Pride before being call to the gate. Ethiopian Airlines is a nationalised airline but we traveled on a modern and well quipped Airbus A350. There wasn't loads of leg room but enough to be reasonably comfortable. We were well looked after and regularly feed by a lovely team of Air Hostesses. I don't think any of us got much sleep
